2 This relationship identified the need for a sightglass light fitting capable of use in potentially explosive environments. Its development and subsequent market introduction provided the foundation stone for the successful evolution of the business in the specialised fields of process lighting, visual ob-servation and remote monitoring. The light fittings together with ancillary items facilitate the vital observation , and thus control, of physical and chemical reactions inside every type of process vessel: reactors, dryers, mixers, columns, tanks, etc. A branch office was opened in the UK in 1990, followed in 1995 by the subsidiary MAX M LLER GmbH in the manufacturing of light fittings and explosion proof cameras, the sales spectrum was enlarged by a steadily gro-wing programme of sightglasses, today covering a broad variety of different types of fittings, including applications in sterile areas, clean rooms and biogas present managing director, Dr.

3 Hans Georg M ller, joined the company in 1974. Under his direction, the light fittings business was incorpora-ted into the MAX M LLER Holding Ing. Roger A. Blenny, member of the management board, has been technical mana-ger for more than 25 years. Dipl. Ing. St phane Blenny heads the development and quality control research, development and feasibility studies ensure that the pro-ducts of MAX M LLER AG are leaders in their field.
