The sensing head is equipped with a replaceable infrared sensor. The Detector is a fully digital and extreme accurate measurement device. The output signal is a standardised 4-20mA signal. The power supply of the sensing head is supplied by a three-core screened connection cable. The ST700IR features all necessary calibration functions inside the Detector .
2 Hence, the calibration of the Detector can be performed by a single person. This one-man calibration feature offers the highest degree of accuracy and disposes the need for a second calibration on the gas detection control unit.
