Compliance with this memorandum is mandatory.

2 To the extent its directions are inconsistent with other Air FORCE publications, the information herein prevails IAW AFI 33-360, Publications and Forms Management. The attached guidance rescinds all outdated references in AFI 24-302 regarding the requirement for ILS-S/AFEMS DOLI updates and CA/CRL listing processes. Also, do not retain related artifacts in the local/master vehicle record files. Follow AFI 24-302, para to execute your annual FIAR compliance requirements. Additionally, information regarding watercraft has been removed.

3 This action is being taken in order to eliminate any ambiguity that may exist regarding the AF Vehicle Management enterprise s perceived role in AF watercraft management. This memorandum becomes void after one-year has elapsed from the date of this memorandum, or upon publication of an Interim Change or rewrite of the affected publication, whichever is earlier. 4 (T-1). The LRS Commander or equivalent will review and endorse the DPAS Annual Inventory after the Vehicle Custodian has accomplished the inventory. (T-1) (Change) The DPAS work order, for each individual vehicle, will be used to update the Date Of Last Inventory (DOLI). (Change) Table Authorized Vehicle AS Codes. AS NOMENCLATURE DESCRIPTION 010 Vehicle Fleet (Registered) Basic allowance standard for all AF owned fleets. 012 Vehicle Fleet (Leased) Basic allowance standard for all lease fleets. Note: Only leased vehicles will be used to fill these authorizations.

5 No AF owned vehicles allowed. 034 Vehicle Fleet (Contingency) Reports authorizations at contingency locations (non-normalized) worldwide. 037 Vehicle Fleet (AF provided and replaced contractor Support) Use when AF vehicles are Government Furnished Property (GFP) to a contractor and will be replaced by the AF. 048 Special Retention Authority (Excess) Unauthorized equipment on hand. 051 AF Vehicles for Non-AF Activity (AF provided but not AF replaced contractor Use when AF vehicles are GFP to a contractor and will not be replaced by the AF.)

6 FM&A will not rotate vehicles to/from a contractor authorized/assigned under AFI24-302_AFGM2018-01 3 support) AS 051. Authorizations under this allowance will be reduced/deleted upon final disposition of the vehicle. 054 Special Project Vehicles Use to report authorizations supporting a MAJCOM or USAF approved special project/program. Note: 054 authorizations will not exceed one year. If the authorization is needed beyond the termination date, MAJCOMs will establish permanent authorizations using another AS or the authorization will be deleted.

7 (Change) Vehicle custodians have an inherent responsibility for the management of assigned property. They may be held financially liable for the mismanagement of property under their control. The DPAS Annual Inventory is used to account for AF vehicles. (Change) Verify data on DPAS Annual Inventory accurately represents vehicle information and quantities. (T-1). (Change) Ensure all vehicles accounts are inventoried and signed annually. (T-1). A floor to book will be the process to accomplish the inventory.

8 Sign DPAS Annual Inventory. Once listing is signed by custodian, LRS Commander or equivalent will review and sign DPAS Annual Inventory. (T-1). Signed inventory will be forwarded to 441 VSCOS. (T-1). (Delete) Note (Change) Tab B DPAS Annual Inventory. (T-1). (Change) Current signed DPAS Annual Inventory with original or CAC signatures from either the Primary or Alternate custodian and the organization commander. (T-1). (Delete) (Change) Copy of ROS document. Maintain until asset is removed and new DPAS Annual Inventory reflecting quantity change is in file.

9 (T-1). (Change) Maintain Master Jacket File for each base level vehicle account on the VM Neighborhood SharePoint. (Change) Master Jacket File will contain Custodian Appointment letter and a signed DPAS Annual Inventory with original or digital (CAC) signatures of the primary or alternate custodian and it has been verified by the applicable organization commander. (Change) Track and manage annual requirement for signed DPAS Annual Inventory. Provide vehicle account custodians new DPAS Annual Inventory when required.

10 Ensure the AFI24-302_AFGM2018-01 4 DPAS Annual Inventory is signed by the appointed custodian, commander and filed in Master Jacket File.
