In June, you were advised that AMP Research (Research) had decided to place a hold' rating on the WealthView eWRAP products and that further work would be undertaken to determine the future of those products. After careful consideration, WealthView eWRAP super , Pension and Investment products were soft closed to new investors effective 17 October 2016 as outlined in the AdviserNET article of 10 October 2016. This means that existing investors in WealthView eWRAP can continue to invest and/or make contributions to their account.

1 IMPORTANT update : WealthView eWRAP soft closure 20 October 2016. In June, you were advised that AMP Research (Research) had decided to place a hold' rating on the WealthView eWRAP products and that further work would be undertaken to determine the future of those products. After careful consideration, WealthView eWRAP super , Pension and Investment products were soft closed to new investors effective 17 October 2016 as outlined in the AdviserNET article of 10 October 2016. This means that existing investors in WealthView eWRAP can continue to invest and/or make contributions to their account.

2 However, no new applications will be accepted after close of business 14 October 2016 with the exception of WealthView eWRAP super to pension transition applications, which will be accepted until 4. November 2016 (see how to do this below). What is the impact of a soft close for my WealthView eWRAP clients? WealthView eWRAP clients will not experience any loss of service. Clients will continue to be serviced through the Customer Relations team and service levels will continue to be monitored. Similarly, staff are dedicated to managing WealthView eWRAP products, irrespective of open or closed status.

3 Products will continue to operate in the same manner as always. However, the soft closure of the super product will mean that lump sum pension withdrawals (commutations) cannot be rolled into a WealthView eWRAP super account. The soft closure will also limit your ability to transition clients from super to pension within WealthView eWRAP after 4 November 2016 and will necessitate transition of these clients to alternative products. When is the cut-off for in-progress applications processing? From the close of business on Friday 14 October 2016 e-forms are no longer being accepted via AdviserNET.

4 For any WealthView eWRAP products. Should you wish your client to move from a WealthView eWRAP super account to a WealthView eWRAP . Pension account during the extended open period (17 October 2016 to 4 November 2016; applies to super to pension transitions only), your client will need to complete a hard copy application form and ASGARD must have received it by the close of business on 4 November 2016. You can download the latest WealthView eWRAP super /Pension PDS and WealthView eWRAP Pension account application form for your client below: WealthView eWRAP super /Pension PDS.

5 WealthView eWRAP Pension Application Booklet. Please be reminded that your client needs to be provided with a copy of the PDS and application form together should they wish to transition to WealthView eWRAP Pension (from WealthView eWRAP super ). Completed hardcopy application forms will need to be mailed to: WealthView AMP Limited ABN 49 079 354 519. PO Box C113. PERTH WA 6839. What if I had an in progress e-form which was not submitted by the soft close date of Friday 14 October? If you had any of the following e-forms in progress or saved for your clients and which weren't submitted by 5pm (AEDT) on Friday 14 October 2016, they have now been automatically invalidated.

6 All pending WealthView eWRAP accounts are affected, as follows: Type of e-form Accounts affected Account application (APP) WealthView eWRAP super WealthView eWRAP Pension WealthView eWRAP Investment Any e-forms for your clients that were not submitted before the soft close became effective will remain in the 'What am I working on?' section of AdviserNET and AdviserNETgain for your reference, but you won't be able to submit them. What alternative products are available when my clients transition to pension or if I wish to replace WealthView eWRAP with another product?

7 There are a number of alternative platform products on the AMPFP approved product and services list (APSL). that can be considered alternative products for WealthView eWRAP (where you have assessed that your client needs to transition from their current product arrangement). These include MyNorth and Flexible super . As well, we understand that even though PortfolioCare eWRAP has not been added to the AMP Financial Planning APSL, Research may give special consideration for one-off approvals to change existing clients from WealthView eWRAP to PortfolioCare eWRAP .

8 When will new disclosure documents be available regarding the soft close of WealthView eWRAP ? New disclosure documents were made available from 10 October 2016 for WealthView eWRAP . super /Pension and Investment. They disclose the soft closure effective 17 October 2016, together with other changes, as applicable.
