INFORMATION SHEET ADMISSION TO PROGRAMMESUNDER DASA/CIWG SCHEME 2018 I SCHEDULE OF ADMISSIONS As per DASA-2018 guidelines, the dates for reporting by candidates who have been allotted seat in Rounds 1, 2, 3, and 4 to allotted Institutes are 21- 26 July 2018. ADMISSION of candidates admitted under JoSAA (JEE Main 2018) overlaps with this schedule. Hence for the sake of convenience, a branch-wise ADMISSION Schedule has been proposed. Accordingly, DASA candidates and their parents are requested to follow the schedule given below, as far as possible. 2 The Originals of the following documents have to be brought at the time of reporting for ADMISSION : 1. Provisional allotmentletter. 2. 10thstandard / Matriculation or equivalent certificate or any other certificate issued by government authorities, as proof ofdate ofbirth. 3. Mark SHEET /grade card and Pass certificate of the qualifyingexamination. 4. Certificate from the school studied as proof of completion of 11thand 12thin case of candidates whose final results are awaited (as per the format in Appendix II of DASA INFORMATION Brochure- 2018. 5. SAT Score Card issued by College Board 6. School Leaving / Transfer Certificate from the Institution lastattended. 7. Character and Conduct Certificate from the Institution lastattended. 8. Character and Conduct Certificate from a Gazetted Officer issued after January 31, 2018 for candidates who have passed the qualifying examination in years prior to the academic year2017-2018. 9. Passport and VISA to prove the eligibility of DASA candidature.)

For candidates who are Indian citizens, certificates proving that he/she completed 11thand 12thfrom an institution abroad (as per Appendix IV of DASA INFORMATION Brochure- 2018) if it is not clear from the School Leaving / TransferCertificate. 11. For CIWG category of candidates, the proof that either of the parent is working in gulf country will be: (i) Passport of the parent working in the gulf, (ii) Parent s visa (iii) Parent s Work Permit (If any), and (iv)Certificate from the company/organization as proof that parent is working in gulf country as per Appendix III of DASA INFORMATION Brochure- 2018. 12. Physical Fitness Certificate issued by a Govt. Medical Officer not below the rank of Asst. Surgeon in the prescribed format. The format shall be available in the link: 13. Passport size photographs 5 14. Stamp size photographs -2 15. Copy of the first page of savings bank (SB) account passbook in the name of candidate held in the State Bank of India.

Candidate must be present in person along with parent / authorized guardian for taking ADMISSION at NITC. (The authorized guardian should possess a photo ID Card and authorization letter from the parent). ADMISSION in absentia (proxy) will not be allowed even on medical grounds. If the candidate does not report on the above mentioned date and time, his/her ADMISSION is liable to be cancelled.

5 III FEES TO BE PAID AT THE TIME OFADMISSION (i) TuitionFee candidates - NIL candidates NIL Note: If there is any deficit in the amount paid to DASA coordinating Institution, the deficit amount has to be paid using State Bank Collect at the following link In the dropdown menu select the following option for payment DASA Students- Shortfall of USD in INR- 2018 (ii) InstituteFee candidates -Rs. 13,350/- candidates -Rs. 13,400/- (which includes an extra amount of Rs 50/- forNASA Annual subscription) Mode of Payment Payment can be done online using State Bank Collect at the following link (links will be active from 14-7-2018 onwards) In the dropdown menu select the following option for payment DASA/CIWG B. Arch ADMISSION Fee- 2018 (iii) HostelFee Fee at the time of ADMISSION (All candidates) , 000/- HOSTEL AND MESS MONTHLYCHARGES (a) Hostel room rent, electricity charge, water charge, mess and other establishment charges are payable on monthly basis.

6 (b) Hostel charges including rent, water charge, electricity charge, etc. will be approximately permonth. 4 (c) Mess charges will be based on the type of mess and the quantity of extra food items consumed by the student and will be approximately 3,500/-permonth. However, parents/students can pay an amount of ,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand only) at the beginning of every semester as an advance against both hostel and mess charges. If found less, parents/students will be informed to pay the balance. If found excess, balance amount will be carried over to the next semester. (d) MODE OF PAYMENT (Cash payment is notacceptable) Payment shall be online through State Bank Collect . Printout of the transactionstatementshall be submitted to the hostel office. How to reach the Institute National Institute of Technology Calicut (NITC) is located in a campus at Chathamangalam, about 22 kilometres North East of Calicut city in Kerala state. The institute is connected with Calicut city by KSRTC Buses (towards Mukkam) starting form KSRTC Central Bus Station and by Private Buses (towards Mukkam-Areekode) starting from Corporation Bus Station, Palayam (near Calicut Railway Station). Taxi and autorickshaw are available from Calicut Railway/Bus Station to NITC.
