This controlensures compatibility with Lennox Harmony III zone con-trol system, as well as a thermostat which provides humid-ity control.

6 Each G61 MPV is shipped ready for installationin the upflow, downflow, horizontal left air discharge orhorizontal right air discharge position. The furnace isshipped with the bottom panel in place. The bottom panelmust be removed if the unit is to be installed in upflow ap-plications with bottom return air. The bottom panel mustalso be removed and discarded in all downflow or horizon-tal furnace is equipped for INSTALLATION in natural gas ap-plications. A conversion kit (ordered separately) is re-quired for use in propane/LP gas G61 MPV can be installed as either a Direct Vent or aNon Direct Vent gas central In Direct Vent installations, combustion air is takenfrom outdoors and flue gases are discharged outdoors.

8 NOTE G61 MPV 60C 110 and G61 MPV 60C 111 unitsalso include a 2" diameter PVC street elbow, which isshipped on the blower deck in the heating 60D 135 units are shipped with a 3" to 2" PVCreducing Installations Only Replace the provided 2"street elbow shipped with the G61 MPV 60C 110 andG61 MPV 60C 111 units with 2" street elbow Y0162. Re-place the provided 3" X 2" reducing elbow shipped with theG61 MPV 60D 135 units with 3" X 2" reducing elbow40W22. Y0162 and 40W22 meet B149 vent following items may also be ordered separately:1 Thermostat1 Propane/LP changeover kitDANGERD anger of are circumstances in which odorant used withLP/propane gas can lose its scent.

9 In case of a leak,LP/propane gas will settle close to the floor and maybe difficult to smell. An LP/propane leak detectorshould be installed in all LP equipment for shipping damage. If you find anydamage, immediately contact the last InformationWARNINGI mproper INSTALLATION , adjustment, alteration, serviceor maintenance can cause property damage, person-al injury or loss of life. INSTALLATION and service mustbe performed by a licensed professional installer (orequivalent), service agency or the gas with any mechanical equipment, personal injurycan result from contact with sharp sheet metaledges.
