This manual describes the basic functions of the WinSetup configuration Software , how to set up tank capacity tables (TCT), product parameters for Inventory calculations, and various service functions. The manual includes a brief description of the recommended setup procedure for a Rosemount Tank Gauging system. The Rosemount Tank Gauging product portfolio includes a wide range of components for small and large customized tank gauging systems. The system includes various field devices, such as radar level gauges, temperature transmitters, and pressure transmitters for complete Inventory control.

6 The TankMaster Software suite provides you with the tools that you need to configure and operate the Rosemount Tank Gauging system. For detailed descriptions of how to setup various devices refer to the respective reference manuals. The Rosemount Tank Gauging System Configuration Manual provides comprehensive information on Rosemount Tank Gauging systems and how to use WinSetup for setting up Rosemount Tank Gauging systems. See Technical documentation on page 5 for a list of technical documentation. is Rosemount TankMaster?Rosemount TankMaster is an Emerson Automation Solutions/Rosemount Tank Gauging Inventory Management Software package for installation and configuration of level gauging equipment. It provides you with powerful and easy-to-use tools for installation and configuration of level gauging devices such as radar transmitter gauges (RTGs).

7 Settings for protocols, devices and tanks can be changed in real graphical interface gives you a clear overview of installed devices and tanks. Measurements and data are presented in realtime and you can customize views to suit your TankMaster lets you connect via the TRL2, RS232, RS485, or Ethernet TCP/IP interfaces. Other communication interfaces, such as Enraf BPM, are also supported.

Software ModulesWinOpiWinOpi is the operator interface to the tank gauging system. It communicates with the Ta n k S er ver and various protocol servers to let the user monitor measured tank data. Parameters stored by the Tank Server include: device names configuration data, such as antenna type number of connected temperature sensors number of connected analog inputs The Ta n k S er v e r collects data from connected devices and distributes this information to the WinOpi and WinSetup user protocol serverThe Master Protocol Server transfers configuration data and measured data between the Ta n k S e r ve r and connected devices in the tank gauging system.

10 The Master Protocol Server is able to communicate with various types of devices such as FCUs, the Rosemount 2410 Tank Hub, and the Rosemount 5900S Radar Level Gauge to collect measurements for, for example, level, temperature and protocolThe Slave Protocol Server is used to connect the Ta n k M as ter system to a host computer (DCS system). The Slave Protocol Server exchanges tank data between the Ta n k S er ve r and the host Server with browserTa n k M as t e r uses OPC Data Access (OLE for Process Control), an open industry standard, which eliminates the need for costly customized Software integration. With the OPC server and the browser it is easy to import all custody transfer and Inventory data to other OPC clients such as different DCS:s, PLC:s, Scada systems, or Microsoft Office programs.
