In addition, when handling wet-end parts, always wear protective goggles,masks, prevent death or injury from a falling pump,make sure the rope or chain used for liftingthe pump is not accidentally cut or disconnected during installation. Make sure the rope or the chainused to lift the pump has sufficient strength in relation to the pump load.

8 Also, be sure not to standunderneath a lifted or suspended turn off the power supply prior to servicing the pump. Make special provisionsso that no other operator mistakenly turns on the power supply while someone is working on the a noisy or poor visibility environment, display a sign near the power supply switch to notify others thatsomeone is "WORKING" on the pump.
