1 2015 KSR2015A263 KTX Case study on the maintenance costs structure analysis for KTX High Speed Rolling Stock system *, * , ** Seog Jung Choi *, Moon Hong Kim* , Yong Han Kim* * Abstract The high speed rolling stock system considerably belongs to a special industry which requires large-scale investment cost but the recovery term is too long. In view of these characteristics, this study is the cases on maintenance cost structure analysis for KTX High Speed Rolling Stock invested previously in 2004. Through the case study for KTX High Speed Rolling Stock maintenance cost structure, this aims to seek for the method to improve the different RAM management skills and apply for environmental changes by integrating cost effective operational conditions and methods of the KTX maintenance management.
