Fortify milk with extra protein by adding dry milk powder. Add 1 cup of powder to 1 quart of milk. Use whole milk, evaporated milk, or condensed milk (if tolerated) instead of skim or 2% for drinking and preparing “cream type” soups, custards, puddings, and milkshakes.
