1 MEDIATION AND CONCILIATION PROJECT COMMITTEE Supreme Court of India, Block -B, Room No. 124, Additional Building Complex,New Delhi -110001 Dated : FOR CONSULTANT Applications in the prescribed proforma (as per Annexure I) to theadvertisement from eligible candidates for appointment as Consultant in theMediation and CONCILIATION PROJECT COMMITTEE , Supreme Court of India, as perdetails given below of the Post :Consultant in the MEDIATION andConciliation PROJECT COMMITTEE , SupremeCourt of India , New of consultant required :The post is purely temporary in natureinitially, for one year from the date ofengagement. 3,Qualification :Candidate must be a law graduate (as onthe date of applying) having a BachelorDegree in law (three years professionalcourse), Five years (including IntegratedDegree Course in Law) from anySchool/College/University/ Institutionestablished by law in India andrecognized by the Bar Council of India forenrollment as an Advocate.
2 The candidate must have knowledge ofcomputer including retrieval of desiredinformation from various searchengines/processes such as Manupatra,SCC Online, LexisNexis, Westlaw. :One year in the field of Law(as on the date of advertisement) and responsibilities of the Consultant:The Consultant will share some burdenof the staff of the MCPC and also conductindependent research, preparedocumentation, and statistical will be expected to suggestremedial steps (if any) and identifypositive actions taken (if any) so that aseries of best practices are evolved overthe will be additional andmiscellaneous administrative duties thatthe consultant will be required toperform, such as organizing seminarsand group discussions with experts onthe subject of MEDIATION Limit:Candidate should not be above 25 yearsof age on the closing date of application.
3 :Maximum amount of monthlyconsolidated fee payable to Consultantshall be ,000/- per month anddeduction of applicable tax. :Candidate shall not be entitled to anyallowance such as Dearness allowance,Residential Telephone, Transport Facility,Residential Accommodation, PersonalStaff, CGHS and Medical Reimbursementetc. :The Candidate shall be eligible for 8 days leave in a calendar year on pro-ratabasis. Therefore, a Consultant shall notdraw any remuneration in case of his/herabsence beyond 8 days in a Year(calculated on a pro-rata basis). Alsoun-availed leave in a calendar yearcannot be carried forward to nextcalendar year.
4 The MCPC would be atliberty to terminate the services, in caseof absence of a candidate, for more than15 days, beyond the entitled leave in acalendar year. :No TA/DA shall be admissible for joiningthe assignment or on its will not be allowed foreigntravel at Government expenses. However,Consultants, shall be allowed TA for theirtravel inside the country only inconnection with the official work. Notice:The MCPC can cancel the appointment atany time without providing any reasonand without any prior notice. Thecandidate can also seek termination ofthe contract, upon giving one month snotice to the applicants may submit application indicating their interestin working for the MEDIATION and CONCILIATION PROJECT COMMITTEE ,Supreme Court of India.
