2 Page 1 of 5 Moratorium(s) Expiration Notice This Notice is for informational purposes only and is applicable to borrowers with a reverse mortgage loan in a Default, Called Due & Payable or Foreclosure status. You may have been previously notified that your reverse mortgage loan is in default. We have been unable to take additional action with respect to your loan, because of a moratorium(s), either by law, regulation and/or investor requirements, until now. The moratorium(s) have now expired. If your loan is in default*, we are hereby advising you of loss mitigation options available to you to cure the default. Please also be advised that we may conduct periodic exterior inspections of your property, and we have the right, but not the obligation, to preserve, secure and maintain your property when vacant or abandoned.
3 *If any of the conditions below have been met, your reverse mortgage may technically be in default: death of the last surviving borrower living in the home failure to pay taxes, insurance, HOA dues or assessments, or other property charges failure to certify your occupancy of the home as your primary residence no living borrower remains on title to the home (title transfer) the condition of the property is in disrepair If you need confirmation of why your loan is in default, please call us at (866) 446-0026. If the default is related to occupancy, you must sign and return an Occupancy Certification Form within 30 days from the date of this letter in order to avoid your loan being referred to or proceeding with foreclosure, unless prohibited by applicable law or regulation.

If the default is a monetary default, the default must be resolved by any of the following methods: Option 1: Repay Default Balance: The total amount of taxes, insurance and/or other property charges advanced on your behalf must be repaid. If you are unsure of the current amount due or have not yet been evaluated for a Repayment Plan, please contact us at the phone number listed above. Option 2: Payoff Outstanding Loan Balance: The total amount due on the loan must repaid with wired or certified funds.

6 Please note: o If you have a Home Equity Conversion Mortgage (HECM) loan, you may request to proceed with a short sale. If the proposed short sale meets HUD guidelines, a short sale for at least ninety-five percent (95%) of the property value may be available. o If you do NOT have a HECM loan, you may request a short sale which will be subject to approval from the investor (owner or holder) of your mortgage loan.
