1 Preference Process / NOTICE /2017/1-A, Date : 14/07/2017 NOTICE Health Sciences Admission Process (NEET-UG-2017) Online Preference Form Filling Process The Commissioner, State CET Cell, Maharashtra State has published NOTICE No. StateCETCELL/NEET-UG-2017/ Document Verification Process / NOTICE , dated 12/07/2017, schedule for document verification was published. Instructions for Online Preference Form filling Process are hereby given below. (A) Instructions for all candidates whose names appeared in Provisional State Merit List declared by this office on : 1. Before filling the online preference form, candidate should read carefully the NEET-UG-2017 Information Brochure and related Notices published by this office from time to time. 2. All the candidates should fill the preferences online on the website and 3.

2 Candidate can fill minimum 1 (one) choice and maximum 300 choices. 4. If any candidate has not filled online preference form, he/she will be debarred from the Admission Process . 5. Preferences must be filled from 15/07/2017 to 21/07/2017 upto pm. 6. No extension of time will be given for filling the online preference form. 7. For filling of preferences, candidate should use specimen copy of the preference form given in the NEET UG 2017 information brochure and take Xerox copy of that. Candidate should first fill the preferences on the Xerox form and confirm the same. Once the preferences are confirmed then only candidate should enter confirmed preferences online. 8. There is no provision to change the preferences at any time after pressing the submit button.

3 9. Preferences once filled will be used for two (or more) rounds of Admission Process which is conducted for the seat matrix shown on the website. Second time choices will not be asked. 10. It is likely that some of the seats from All India Quota will be surrendered by the Government of India to the State. For these surrendered seats separate online preferences will be collected from the candidates in due course. 11. The list of various colleges and courses is given in the NEET UG 2017 Information Brochure. There are around 300 colleges conducting course of 10 different faculties. The seat position of every college and its category (Government/Government Aided/Private Unaided) is mentioned in the brochure. Candidates should study this list before entering the preferences.

4 12. Candidates have to enter the preferences of Medical, Dental, Ayurved etc. faculties at one time after noting the status of the college and tuition fee of the college. The detail of tuition fees of every college is available on the website. 13. At the end of filling the preferences, common selection list will be generated which will include not only candidates selected for medical, but also include candidates selected for rest all colleges and courses (including BSc. Nursing). 14. All the candidates interested for BPMT (paramedical) courses of Maharashtra University of Health Sciences , Nashik should approach to respective Dean. BPMT courses are not included in the present Admission Process . 15. If a candidate submits preferences only for medical colleges then he/she will not be considered for Dental, Ayurved etc.

5 Courses till the end of this Process . This will be also applicable to candidates filling preferences for other facilities. (B) Instructions for candidates called for document verification Process : 1. Candidates having NEET All India Rank No. 1 to 135000 (including all constitutional and specified reservations) should attend document verification Process at the regional centers at given time. 2. Candidates from ST category having NEET All India Rank No. 1 to 300000 should attend the document verification Process as per schedule given in the NOTICE dated 3. Defence-2 and Defence-3 candidates from Vidarbha and Marathwada region having NEET All India Rank No. 1 to 300000, should attend the document verification Process as per schedule given in the NOTICE dated 4.

6 Candidates from Hilly Area from Vidarbha region having NEET All India Rank No. 1 to 300000, should attend the document verification Process as per schedule given in the NOTICE dated 5. Following candidates should NOT attend the document verification Process during 15/07/2017 to 21/07/2017 at Regional Centers. All the candidates including SC, VJ, NT-1, NT-2, NT-3, OBC, Defence-1 from all 3 regions, Defence-2 from Rest of Maharashtra and Defence-3 from Rest of Maharashtra and Maharashtra Karnataka Border (MKB) having NEET All India Rank No. more than 135000. All the candidates of ST category having NEET All India Rank No. more than 300000. All the candidates from Defence-2 and Defence-3 from Vidarbha and Marathwada Region having NEET All India Rank No. more than 300000. All the candidates from Hilly Area category from Vidarbha Region having NEET All India Rank No.

7 More than 300000. All the candidates of Persons with Disability (PWD) category having NEET All India Rank No. more than 646063. The document verification of all the above candidates will be carried out at the Institutional level. The detail schedule of Institutional Level document verification will be declared later. 6. There is no relation between the date of document verification and date of online submission of preference form. A candidate can fill online preferences either before the document verification or after the document verification. 7. Irrespective of the date of document verification, a candidate can fill online preference form within the given time. No candidate will be allowed to fill online preference form after 21/07/2017, pm. (C) Instructions to the candidates who are NOT called for document verification : 1.

8 All these candidates must fill the online preferences within given time and not latter than 21/07/2017, pm. 2. The document verification of all these candidates will be carried out at the Institutional level and schedule for which will be declared later. 3. The document verification of following candidates will be carried out at Institutional Level. All the candidates including SC, VJ, NT-1, NT-2, NT-3, OBC, Defence-1 from all 3 regions, Defence-2 from Rest of Maharashtra and Defence-3 from Rest of Maharashtra and Maharashtra Karnataka Border (MKB) having NEET All India Rank No. more than 135000. All the candidates of ST category having NEET All India Rank No. more than 300000. All the candidates from Defence-2 and Defence-3 from Vidarbha and Marathwada Region having NEET All India Rank No.

The document verification of all the above candidates will NOT be carried out at Regional Centers. The detail schedule of Institutional Level document verification will be declared later. 4. After filling the preferences, selection list will be generated. If the name of the candidate appears in the selection list, then his document verification will be carried out at the selected Institution. 5. No candidate should wait for document verification before filling the online preference form.

10 Irrespective whether documents are verified or not, all candidates must fill the preference form. All the candidates, whose names appear in the Provisional State Merit List declared by this office on 12/07/2017, should read and follow above instructions carefully.
