The following person is appointed as a Deputy Registrar of the Court of Queen s Bench: Stephanie Collins, of Flin Flon 2. The appointments of the following persons as Deputy Registrars of the Court of Queen s Bench are revoked: Lorna Jane Cook, Shannon Marie Becker, of Thompson 3. This ORDER comes into effect the day it is made. AUTHORITY The Court of Queen s Bench Act, c. C280, states: Appointment of registrars 12(1) The Lieutenant Governor in COUNCIL may appoint one or more registrars and one or more deputy registrars.
2 BACKGROUND 1. The new appointment is required so that this employee of the Department of Justice can carry out her duties in the Court of Queen's Bench. 2. Lorna Jane Cook of Thompson was appointed Deputy Registrar on February 26, 1997, by ORDER in COUNCIL 107/1997, and she has retired from her employment with the Government of Manitoba . 3. Shannon Marie Becker of Thompson was appointed Deputy Registrar on March 24, 1999, by ORDER in COUNCIL 142/1999, she no longer requires this appointment to carry out her duties.
