Complete mixing is necessary. Thetemperature of the separate components prior to mixing is notcritical, but they should be close to room - Bulk: Combine Part A (resin) and Part B (hardener) inthe correct ratio and mix thoroughly until the color andconsistency are uniform. EPOXI-PATCH Tube Kits have beendesigned so that squeezing EQUAL LENGTH BEADS of Part A& Part B will give proper ratio. Ratios given above can be usedfor measuring larger amounts. Mixing the adhesive just prior touse is recommended.

3 Heat buildup during or after mixing isnormal. Do not mix quantities greater than two pounds asdangerous heat buildup can occur causing uncontrolleddecomposition of the mixed adhesive. Mixing smaller quantitieswill minimize the heat - Cartridges: Place cartridge in proper dispenser. Tobegin using a new cartridge, remove cartridge cap and dispensea small amount of adhesive, making sure both Parts A & B areextruding. Attach nozzle and dispense approximately 1-2"before applying onto the part to be bonded. Partially usedcartridges can be stored with the mixing nozzle attached. Toreuse, remove and discard the old nozzle, attach the newnozzle, and begin dispensing.**Note**Mix cartridge dispenses adhesive in a 2:1 show no significant effect on bondperformance compared to :1 : Bonding surfaces should be clean and dry. Oncethe adhesive is applied, the bonded parts should be held incontact until the part has developed handling strength.

4 It is notnecessary to clamp the parts unless movement during cure : Complete cure is obtained after three days at roomtemperature. After 24 hours, approximately 90% of full cureproperties are attained. Hysol 0151 will achieve handlingstrength in 6-8 hours at 77 F (note: this can vary with differentbond configurations). Hysol 0151 can also be completely curedwith heat such as: 2 hours at 140 F; 1 hour at 180 F; or 30minutes at 250 F. Heat cures can be modified to achieve adesired degree of cure from handling strength to full Up: It is important to remove excess adhesive from thework area and application equipment before it hardens. Manycommon solvents and citrus cleaners are suitable for removinguncured adhesive. Consult with your supplier's informationpertaining to the safe and proper use of solvents. Hysol 0151 May 2002 Loctite and Hysol are Registered Trademarks of Loctite Corporation ml and 200 ml EPS CartridgesQuart, One Gallon and Five Gallon oz.
