3 The bright red LED alphanumeric scrollingmessage display informs the user of any faults, failures,and the current operating status of the Punch presscontrol system. The messages are in plain English andwill give the Press operator and front line supervisorinformation quickly and safely. The "Quickview DiagnosticMessage Display" system is so advanced that it willimmediately inform the user of such problems aspressure switch faults, failed output relays, or rotary cammis-adjustment. The system will also pinpoint internalprinted circuit board faults for immediate self-diagnostic feature will save many maintenancedollars and will enhance machine uptime measurably dueto the units captive troubleshooting ability. Best of all, thisinformation is supplied without even opening the controlpanel door.

4 Additionally, a complete series of LED's (lightemitting diodes) are mounted on the clutch/ Brake modulefor visual status of all inputs and outputs related to themachine cycle LOGIC AND COMPONENT DIAGNOSTICS A combination of LED's and the alphanumeric plainEnglish message display will enhance in-fieldtroubleshooting greatly. TheInterrupted Stroke Provision improves productivity andsafety significantly by eliminating the need for theoperator to make mode selection adjustments oninterrupted (OPTIONAL) Controlled by keyedselector switch on/off on the control panel, Micro-Inchprovides ram movement for a predetermined amount oftime. Micro-Inch is actuated by the palm buttons and theamount of ram movement is controlled by a Micro-Inchtimer inside the control panel. Micro-Inch also indexesthe ram in increments that eases set-up in high speed orshort stroke Press EXTERNAL TRIP (OPTIONAL) Controlled by a keyed selector switch (on/off) on thecontrol panel.
