2 It measures ambient air temperature, PV panel temperature, wind speed and direction, global irradiance, and is capable of measuring plane-of-array irradiance. Accurate Sensor Capabilities Simple to install sensors attached to the back of the PV panel provide accurate panel temperatures, an important parameter for efficiency monitoring. A separate plane-of-array sensor is supplied with a mounting bracket to attach to the side of a PV panel. An irradiance sensor is mounted to the System on an extension bracket to provide global solar and Easy Installation A compact and lightweight design allows for quick and easy installation. The Satcon Weather Station is supplied with a detachable mast section that can be bolted to an existing structure.
