So What? Vision Sunday What does our future look like?

1 so what ? Consumers use. Soldiers serve. Which are you? Now what ? Resources for Reflection and Growth? At Heritage we say, Our passion is to meet people wherever they are on their spiritual journey and lead them into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ in order to change the world. How has your spiritual journey developed as you have been at Heritage? Would you characterize yourself more as a consumer or a soldier ? Or maybe you are a mix of the two. How do these ideas show up in your life? what are your tendencies and commitments? Read John 10:10 Christ s plan for us is that we have life to the full? Some translations use the word abundant or overflowing . One translation says, Rich and satisfying. what do you think this means? How do you think you get this abundance? what are you doing to make this a more likely experience in your life?

2 Is there anything you are doing/or not doing that makes it less likely? For Heritage to achieve all God wants for us we need an army of soldiers! what about the Vision Shawn shared is inspiring to you? what about the Vision is concerning to you? what do you think your role in fulfilling the Vision could be? what changes is God calling forth from you? The Transition Plan Pastor John initiated the idea of a planned transition. The Leaders you have elected selected Shawn Cossin as the intended next senior leader. John will continue to serve in a yet to be determined role. The members of the church will vote next spring to officially call Shawn as Senior Pastor. How did Heritage become the church it is today?
