2 Reports for the years 1918 1930 (excluding 1923) are unbound and were placed in folders by year (filed in ascending monthly order within the folders). 1931 and 1932 are bound together in one volume. Beginning with 1933, the reports are primarily bound in two volumes for each year, with one covering January through June and the other covering July through December, although a few are bound in one volume for the year (January December). Initially, these reports were written solely by Frank Boss Pinkley, then Custodian of Casa Grande NATIONAL monument and also overseer of future MONUMENTS . Boss Pinkley became Superintendent of the SOUTHWESTERN NATIONAL MONUMENTS in November 1923; then Custodians of individual MONUMENTS (under Pinkley s supervision) reported on their respective MONUMENTS in these monthly reports.
