5 This document specifies the requirements for Hardness/Conductivity testing by Triumph suppliers as identified in the Supplier Quality Assurance Requirements (SQAR) document. The scope of this document applies to all metallic details at the PO line item level and the metallic details that feed into Assemblies. It is not applied at the Assembly level. Affected Suppliers must have hardness and conductivity testing capability for metallic parts or a detailed procedure for purchasing the service. The requirement must be addressed in the supplier's procedures to the extent necessary to ensure compliance, including control of subcontractors if the service is purchased.
6 The supplier is required to flow all of the SQR-010 requirements down to their sub-tiers. Requirements A second temper verification is required for all products regardless of initial or purchased temper condition. This verification (conductivity only) shall be performed post processing in accordance with Table I sampling plan except for steel parts. For steel parts temper verification (hardness only) shall be performed prior to processing in accordance with Table I sampling plan. Note: Prior to processing is defined as completed parts less all surface treatments such as shot peening, chemical process, prime, and paint.
7 Post processing is defined as completed parts including all surface treatments. All nonconforming material must be submitted to Triumph in accordance with SQR-003. Annealed parts/material or parts with thickness less than in. thick and non-structural detail parts such as fillers, painted, tapered or laminated shims DO NOT require 2nd temper verification. Supplier shall annotate on form CD-4020 or CD-4020B, if parts/material is in the annealed condition in block 20 (remarks). For suppliers that are not P3 (Delegate Source), record actual results on either CD-4020 or CD-4020B as objective evidence. P3 suppliers must annotate results on the packing slip or certifications.
8 The results shall include the customer requirements, actual readings, and quantities tested. Document high and low readings and perform rounding as required by the customer specification.
