2 TheSRX712M uses a JBL 2262H 305 mm(12 in) patented* Differential Drive woofer and a 2431H 75 mm (3 in)voice-coil, neodymium compressiondriver for 800 watts (continuous)power capacity from a monitor with aprofile that is only 12 inches above thestage. A 50 x 90 aluminum hornprovides smooth, even coveragewhether the performer is standing righton the speaker or moving upstage. Bi-amp or full-range passiveoperation may be selected by arecessed, high-current switch mountedin the handle cup. NL4 connectors areprovided on both ends of the speakerto keep cable runs tidy on stage. The SRX712M can also do doubleduty as a utility speaker. For use on atripod or over a subwoofer, JBL's dualangle pole mount is included.

3 Thisfeature allows the speaker to bemounted in a vertical position or witha 10 down tilt for optimum audiencecoverage. If suspension or trussmounting is a requirement, add theoptional SRX712M -YK yoke accessory provides attachmentpoints for a wide range of suspensionand truss mounting hardware.* Patent 5,748,760; other and foreign enclosure is constructed of top quality birch plywood and coated inJBL s rugged DuraFlex finish. The attractive CNC-machined, 16-gauge steelgrille wraps around the sides of the enclosure so there are no protruding lipson the front of the box to create acoustical interference. The grilles areinternally lined with acoustically transparent foam to provide additional driverprotection and give a very Professional appearance.
