THIS DOCUMENT IS VALID FOR 24 HOURS AFTER PRINTING Dated: 8/9/2018 Installing a New/Different Dongle Summary: In the event that a new or additional dongle needs to be installed to an ex-isting or different PC. step 1: Plug in the new dongle into an available USB port on the PC. step 2: When the Device Drive Software is done installing, indicated in the bottom right corner of your PC, go to Computer.

2 To access Computer double left lick on the Computer icon on the desktop. step 3: A new window will appear on the desktop with a list of Hard Disk Drives and Devices with Removable Storage. Located in the Devices with Removable Storage section will be a drive titled as CADLINK. 3 THIS DOCUMENT IS VALID FOR 24 HOURS AFTER PRINTING Dated: 8/9/2018 Installing a New/Different Dongle step 4: There should only be two files in the CADLINK drive that need to be copied. To Copy the files hold the left button of the mouse and drag a box that en-compasses the two file names. Release the left button and then click the right button of the mouse on the highlighted names. A new window will appear with multiple options. Left click the option that says Copy. step 5: With the files copied paste them into the Torchmate CAD folder. Go back to Computer using the back arrow button in the top left of the screen, double left click on the C Drive listed under Hard Disk Drives, right click on the Torchmate CAD folder, and left click on the option that says Paste.

THIS DOCUMENT IS VALID FOR 24 HOURS AFTER PRINTING Dated: 8/9/2018 Installing a New/Different Dongle step 6: Since the license files currently in the Torchmate CAD folder have the same name as the new files, a window will appear with a warning that there are files with the same name that already exist. Left click on the option that says Copy and Replace.

5 Since there are two files that are being copied over the warning will appear again. Left click on Copy and Replace one more time. step 7: To make sure the new dongle is working with the Torchmate CAD software open the program, go to Help, and About Torchmate. At the end of the serial number should be either a 0 or a 1. On some versions it might be #0 or -1. Regardless of which way it shows 0 indicates the dongle is working. 1 indi-cates there is an issue with the Torchmate CAD recognizing the license. GOOD BAD
