Only vent components that are certified and listed with the water heater model should be used.
2 Using incorrect or unapproved venting with any rinnai Product will void the warranty. rinnai / Ubbink Vent Systems and Applicable Models Product Rolux Condensing Vent System Rolux Vent System rinnai Models Condensing models only Non-condensing, concentric models only The Rolux Condensing Vent System components contain a polypropylene exhaust and should ONLY be used with rinnai condensing water heaters. Although these components are dimensionally compatible with Ubbink venting for non-condensing, concentric models, they should never be interchanged. When purchasing or using rinnai / Ubbink venting, ensure the proper type is used. rinnai / Ubbink polypropylene (PP) venting will have a green Condensing label on each package. Each rinnai / Ubbink polypropylene (PP) condensing vent component will have an orange Warning Label on the inside and outside pieces.
3 WARNING Using the Rolux Condensing Vent System components on non-condensing, concentric models or if improperly installed may result in carbon monoxide poisoning or fire.
