All coil models are available as flex-coil units without a factory installed metering device.
2 Flex-coil models allow these coils to be used with R-22 or R-410A foradded flexibility to meet refrigerant system choice. An orificemetering device or a R-410A TXV should be installed in the fieldto meet your system Models, Full Case Coils - Full cased coils are suitable foruse in upflow or downflow Models, Multi-Position Coils - MC coils have the addedflexibility that allow them to be installed in any position - upflow,downflow, or horizontal right or left. This coil can be easilyinstalled with a UPG furnace or modular air handler in any Models, Partial Case Coils - These coils are designed forinstallation on top of upflow furnaces. The partial case height onthese coils allows for the flexibility of fabricating the upper portionof the coil casing in the field.
3 The partial cased coils are for use inupflow only Models, Uncased Coils - These coils are designed for instal-lation on top of upflow furnaces, and they are to be used for onlyupflow applications. The uncased coils allows field modification ofthe furnace duct for the coil installation. HD Models, Horizontal Duct Coils - Dedicated horizontal, slabcoil available for both cooling and heat pump applications. Fieldtransition may be plastic drain pans - The vertical and horizontal drainpans on these coils are made of a fiberglass reinforced thermosetpolymer that will not rust or compromise stability at high tempera-tures. Insulated Cabinet - Evaporator coil cabinets are thermally insu-lated with foil faced insulation to prevent sweating.
4 HD coils usefiberglass Tuf-Skin Clean - All evaporator coils are factory leak-tested,dehydrated, sealed and shipped with a holding charge. The suc-tion and liquid lines are sealed with spun copper fittings with easyaccess to attach line Finish Inside and Out - Coil casings are made of pre-painted steel. Pre-treated flat galvanized steel provides a betterpaint to steel bond, which resists corrosion and rust creep. Allinternal metal parts are made of G90 galvanized Heat Transfer - Using the latest in heat transfer tech-nology, staggered rows of copper tubes are mechanicallyexpanded into aluminum fins to provide optimum air to surfacecontact for ample moisture removal as well as high to Price Manual for specific model Kits - Thermal expansion valve kits are available for flex-coilapplications, for converting R-22 to R-410A refrigerant, or as aservice replacement.
