BID NO 67/2017/2018 REPAIR OF LIGHT VEHICLES AND TRUCKS 80/20 preference points system will be used. BID NO 68/2017/2018 WIRING OF MOTOR VEHICLES,TRUCKS,TRACTORS AND HEAVY MACHINERY 80/20 preference points system will be used. First stage evaluation in terms of 100% minimum threshold for local production and content BID NO 82/2017/2018 SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF ELECTRICAL MATERIALS 80/20 preference points system will be used. Bid documents will be available at Procurement Office No. 02 at THULAMELA MUNICIPALITY , Old Agriven Building Thohoyandou, 0950 as from 26 March 2018 between 08h00 and 15h30 upon non-refundable cash payment or guaranteed cheque of R572-00 per document. Only bids complying with following requirements will be considered: Company registration documents Tax Clearance Compliance Status Letter or Tax Clearance Compliance Number. Companies and/or Directors proof of payment for the Municipal accounts (rates & taxes) in their area of jurisdiction.

4 (Not older than Three (3) months) and not in arrears for more than 90 days. List of similar successfully executed projects with clients contact details and contract value. Where possible we also request to be provided with the company profile. NB: Service providers must submit their certified BBBEE verification certificate from verification agency accredited by South African accreditation system (SANAS) or a registered auditor approved by the Independent Regulatory Board (IRBA) or an Accounting Officer as contemplated in the corporation and BEE Rating certificate or sworn affidafit All bids and supporting documents must be sealed and be placed in the tender box on the ground floor of THULAMELA MUNICIPALITY ,Old Agriven Building,Thohoyandou not later than 18 April 2018,closing time 11:00am. Bids will be evaluated using 80/20 or 9010 preference points system and in compliance with Supply Chain Management Policy and PPPFA and its regulations NB: For bid number 81/2017/2018 Supply ad delivery of Protective clothing Only locally produced or manufactured textile clothing, leather and footwear from local raw material or input with a minimum threshold of 100% for local content will be considered.

5 If the raw material or input to be used for a specific item is not available locally BIDDERS should obtain written authorization from the DTI should they be a need to import such raw material or input, and a copy of authorization letter must be submitted together with the bid document at the closing date and time of the bid. The exchange rate to be used for the calculation of local production and content must be the exchange rate published by the South African Reserve Bank at 12h00 on the date of advertisement. Only bureau of standard (SABS) approved technical specification no 1286/2011 must be used to calculated local content. No late /telephonic /faxed /e-mailed bids will be accepted. THULAMELA MUNICIPALITY reserves the right to accept any .or part thereof,and does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any bid.
