1 TXDOT CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING AND INSPECTIONFREESE AND NICHOLS is actively pursuing Texas Department of Transportation ( TXDOT ) CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING and INSPECTION (CEI) contracts. As part of our pursuits, our staff identify and evaluate potential CEI contracts across the state where we might pursue as a prime, sub, or as a joint venture. FNI has more than 30 professionals with precertifications for the major work categories commonly found in CEI RFQs. Our team has employees who can be listed as task managers and supporting Basic Hydraulic Roadway CONSTRUCTION Management and Major Bridge CONSTRUCTION Management and Soil Geotechnical TestingINTERSTATE 20 INTERCHANGEPARKER COUNTYFNI provided CONSTRUCTION management, INSPECTION and LGPP services for the CONSTRUCTION of the new interchange of Interstate 20 and the Ric Williamson Memorial Highway in Parker County.
2 Our team s management of the project resulted in project completion 30 days ahead of schedule and a successful final CONSTRUCTIONENGINEERING AND INSPECTIONOUR CONSTRUCTION HIGHWAY 288 BRAZORIA COUNTYFNI provided the fast-track design for a , estimated $20 million segment of the county s of the project. The design included four-lane toll lanes, longitudinal and lateral storm system, widening of existing main lanes and ramps, ramps for the toll lanes, five detention ponds, the relocation of two U-turns at FM 518 bridge, and MSE wall relocation.
