However, priority for room assignment is established by the date the spring semester housing CONTRACT is signed. Academic Year 2020-21 (Returning Residents): February 28, 2020 at 11:59 EST Academic Year 2020-21 (New Students to UNIVERSITY RESIDENCES ): May 5, 2020 at 11:59 EDT Summer 2020: There isn't a deadline for students to sign a summer session housing CONTRACT .

2 However, priority for room assignment will be established by the date the summer session housing CONTRACT is signed. Priority for Assignment Spring 2020 Semester (New Students to UNIVERSITY RESIDENCES ): Priority for room assignment is established by the date the spring semester housing CONTRACT is signed. Academic Year 2020-21 (Returning Residents): Priority for room self-selection is based upon where you currently live and your current UNIVERSITY classification. Academic Year 2020-21 (New Students to UNIVERSITY RESIDENCES ): Students who sign a housing CONTRACT by May 5, 2020 at 11:59 EDT will be randomly prioritized in the housing assignment process.

3 Priority is not established by the date a housing CONTRACT is signed. Summer 2020: Priority for room assignment is established by the date the summer session housing CONTRACT is signed. Housing CONTRACT Processing Fee Spring 2020 Semester (New Students to UNIVERSITY RESIDENCES ): Of the UNIVERSITY admission acceptance deposit you have already paid, $100 will be applied as your nonrefundable housing CONTRACT processing fee after you sign a housing CONTRACT . This will be reflected in your MyPurdue portal beginning in November.

4 Current students presently living off campus: You will be assessed a nonrefundable $100 housing CONTRACT processing fee after you sign a housing CONTRACT . This charge will be reflected in your MyPurdue portal beginning in November. Academic Year 2020-21 (Returning Residents): As a current resident of UNIVERSITY RESIDENCES , you will not be charged a housing CONTRACT processing fee during the CONTRACT Renewal process. Academic Year 2020-21 (New Students to UNIVERSITY RESIDENCES ): Of the UNIVERSITY admission acceptance deposit you have already paid, $100 will be applied as your nonrefundable housing CONTRACT processing fee after you sign a housing CONTRACT .

6 Academic Year 2020-21 (Returning Residents): Changes may be made until 11:59 on February 28, 2020 EST. Academic Year 2020-21 (New Students to UNIVERSITY RESIDENCES ): Changes may be made until 11:59 on May 5, 2020 EDT. Summer 2020: Changes may be made until you are assigned to a space for the summer session. Meal Plan Change Deadlines Spring 2020 Semester: The deadline to lower your meal swipes is Sunday, January 12, 2020, at 11:59 EST. Students may increase their meal swipes at any time during the CONTRACT term.

7 Academic Year 2020-21: The deadline to lower your meal swipes is Thursday, August 20, 2020 at 11:59 EDT. Students assigned to Hawkins Hall, Hilltop Apartments, Purdue Village Undergraduate, or the UR Boiler Apartments who want to change to a room-only plan also must change their meal plan selection to room only no later than Thursday, August 20, 2020 at 11:59 EDT. Students may choose to increase the number of meal swipes within the 8-, 13- or Unlimited meal plans any time during the semester.

8 cancellation Deadlines Important Note: After the applicable CONTRACT cancellation deadline listed below, your signed housing CONTRACT may only be cancelled if you're NOT attending Purdue UNIVERSITY during the CONTRACT term. Students will not be released from their housing CONTRACT to live in a sorority, fraternity, apartment, cooperative housing, private home, or other place of residence or as a result of a change in financial status.
