Vehicle-Specific Application Information Current as of Feb. 28, 2018. Note A: to determine if the towed vehicle and the motorhome have 'separate' or 'combined' brake and turns signals in a 'separate' system, there are amber or red turn signals which are separate from the brake lights; in a 'combined' system, the brake lights do the flashing for the turn signals.

3 Note B: to determine if a motorhome w/ separate brake and turn signals has a 3-to-2 converter, use a test light to find the turn signal and brake light circuits on the motorhome electrical socket. If the same circuit energizes both the turn signals and the brake lights, a 3-to-2 converter has been installed. Brake and turn signals unless the towed vehicle has separate brake and turn signals (see Note 'A' above), the motorhome brake and turn signals must be inspected by the installer to determine which electrical accessories to install. Based on the brake and turn signals in both vehicles, there are three possibilities: 1) If the towed vehicle has combined and the motorhome has combined (see Note 'A' above), then a Brake-Lite Relay (#88400) is recommended.

4 2) If the towed vehicle has combined and the motorhome has separate w/ a 3-to-2 converter (see Notes 'A' and 'B' above), then a Brake- Lite Relay (#88400) is recommended. 3) If the towed vehicle has combined and the motorhome has separate w/out a 3-to-2 converter (see Notes 'A' and 'B' above), then a Brake-Lite Relay (#88400) and a Brite-Lite Relay (#732) are recommended. Purpose of the stop light switch the motorhome monitors on all ROADMASTER supplemental braking systems always indicate when the brake pedal is depressed. This is a safeguard against accidental damage to the towed vehicle 's brakes if the customer positions the supplemental braking system incorrectly, w/ the brake pedal depressed, the monitor will alert him before the towed vehicle 's brakes are damaged.

5 In some towed vehicles, a stop light switch must be attached to the brake light switch to accomplish this. = listings updated in January = listings updated in February Questions? Comments?
