2 Number and size of conductors combined with the function to beperformed ( , splicing, pull box),determines the amount of spaceneeded, and therefore, the requiredphysical dimensions of the box. Conduit layout determines the number,size, and location of the conduitopenings in the box. It will alsodetermine the type of mounting required( , flush or surface positioning of thebox). Flexibility required if changes in theelectrical system are anticipated, thebox chosen should be easily adaptable,either by construction or size to thefuture and Accessories:A wide variety of options and accessoriesfor special application are available for thevarious Junction box families.
