1 wiADVISOR Network Requirements The new tools for the wiTECH system ( wiADVISOR , wiTECH Diagnostic Extender) were designed to require minimal changes to your existing wiTECH Network . All that is required for proper operation for the new tools is as follows: wiADVISOR : 1 Mopar Access Point mounted in the service write up area wiTECH Diagnostic Extender: 1 Mopar Access Point mounted within 2 feet ( ) of the wiTECH Access Gateway Verify that you have reserved enough IP addresses to accommodate the number of diagnostic tools and access points assigned to your dealership. o These will support the Mopar Access Point, microPod II, VCI Pod, and StarMOBILE. devices, as well as all desktop and laptops running in the wiTECH environment. The set of addresses must be on the same subnet as the wiTECH Access Gateway. All wiTECH. IP addresses should allow port 53, 80, 427, 443, 1677, 8443 and 8070 traffic.
