3 Theportfolio whilst global does carry a UK bias and includes exposure to equities, fixed income aim is to achieve total returns (from income and capital appreciation) that are above thecomposite equity, fixed income and property benchmark, gross of fees, over rolling 3 year commentary (as at 30/06/2020)The portfolio invests in a spread of global equities, bonds and UK commercial property. Equitiescomprise the largest component of the fund , and it was a very strong quarter for the asset class asrisk appetite returned. Investors were encouraged by the scale of economic stimulus measures fromcentral banks and governments.

4 Most core government bond markets posted positive returns andcredit markets performed well. Commercial property had a difficult quarter. As equity marketsrallied, valuations looked less attractive and we felt it prudent to take some profits. We reducedexposure to all regions apart from the UK.
