Suicide Risk Screening Measures Peter M. Gutierrez, for the Military Suicide Research Consortium 26 June 2012 Statement of the Problem The Office of the Army Surgeon General requested recommendations for the most appropriate suicide risk screening measures to deploy throughout the Service, and in particular whether the Columbia Suicide Severity Rating Scale (C-SSRS) is the best option.
