This research examined the Perceptions of media relation professionals regarding diversity challenges and initiatives in the workplace. The study focused on the existence of discrimination in the workplace, discrimination against specific groups, initiatives that companies have taken to manage diversity , and actions taken to address minority and diversity issues according to media relations professionals in Fortune 500 companies in the Midwest of the United States.
