International Labour Organisation2[2] This document sets out South Africa s National Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Policy . This is the first time an OHS Policy applying to all sectors of the economy has been articulated in South Africa. The Cabinet has resolved that the institutions and laws regulating the prevention of Occupational accidents and disease and worker s compensation must be integrated and consolidated under the direction of the Minister of Labour.
