The above allocations can be impossible to achieve because the number of turns in each winding must be an integral number. In a low voltage secon-dary, 1.5 turns may be required for optimum balance between core and winding losses. With one turn, the flux swing and core loss may be much too large; with two turns the winding loss becomes too great.
