Available in two basic materials, aluminum or stain-less steel, all sizes of the coupling have been qualified to the performance requirements of MIL-C-25427A or advantages are incorporated in this coupling when compared with previous self-sealing couplings. They are: Small size up to 45% smaller, depending on size. Lightweight up to 46% less, depending on size and material Ratchet lock positive engagement assures dependable connection Stainless steel provides high strength and fire resis-tance for reliable 3000 psig service.
