2 Will perform administrative duties within the TAFT, which may include but is not limited to safety, force protection, key control, computer security working groups, vehicle control/issue, or other duties as assigned by the TAFT Chief. The work to be performed will be performed at Abu Hammad Airbase, Maddi, and Kom Ashem, Egypt. Responsibilities: The contractor shall provide maintenance management advice and maintenance training for a 44-aircraft AH-64D organization. The contractor shall be primarily responsible for supervising, advising, and assisting in the preventive, scheduled, and unscheduled maintenance on AH-64D Attack Helicopters assigned to the EAF.

3 Works directly for the TAFT Chief and work closely with other assigned contractor and military TAFT members to assist the EAF in the safe, efficient, and effective implementation of their maintenance management and training program. Provides hands-on training and advice in the maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of the AH-64D Longbow Attack Helicopter electrical, avionics, weapons, missile, and fire control systems and all related components. Must have a thorough understanding of maintenance, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance concepts, troubleshooting, fault detection, fault isolation procedures.

4 Provides guidance in the appropriate aviation unit-level maintenance (AVUM) and aviation intermediate level maintenance (AVIM) corrective actions utilizing appropriate technical publications. Trains and advises on the application, operation, and maintenance of all applicable peculiar ground support equipment (PGSE) and Test Measurement Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE). Will advise and/or assist in authorized modifications and alignment on weapons components, fire control units, sighting elements, electronic and mechanical devices. Will train and advise on the performance of operational and preventive checks on aircraft flight controls, stabilization systems, avionics, ammunition loading/unloading and weapon subsystems configuration changes for all AH-64D weapons, avionics and ASE systems.

5 Will train and advise in the proper maintenance of facilities for storage of weapons, ammunition, weapons cleaning equipment, and supplies. Will train and advise in the operation and repair of diagnostic equipment. Will provide training for the EAF on AH-64D armament , electrical, avionics systems, and all related subsystem components to include conducting and supervising STS Level 3 through Level 7 for EAF maintenance personnel. Will monitor the preparation of forms and records related to the AH-64D armament , electronic, and avionics systems. Will perform operational checks as required in the process of training EAF maintenance personnel to perform the checks.

6 Will provide technical guidance to other TAFT members, independent contractors and EAF maintenance personnel to ensure all EAF aircraft meet Army maintenance and safety standards. Will use online resources and maintain close contact with AMCOM, AED, and other agencies to ensure that the EAF and TAFT personnel have the most up to date and accurate information pertaining to MWOs, AMAMs, SOF messages, MIMs and TBs for the AH-64D Apache . Will review EAF maintenance policies, procedures and SOPs and provide input to the EAF to improve their internal maintenance capabilities. Will assist in the development and establishment of standard operating procedures within the TAFT to ensure the safe and successful completion of the TAFT mission.

7 Education / Skills and Requirements (non-wavetable): Successfully completed the Army Advanced Individual Training (AIT) 15Y course. Minimum of 6 years as a 15Y. Extensive experience with the Captive Bore-sight Harmonization Kit and troubleshooting, repairing, and replacing all AH-64D weapons and sighting systems to include Modernized TADS (MTADS). Experience maintaining aircraft forms and records and experience entering weapons system data into the aircraft. Experience with corrosion prevention and aircraft Battle Damage Assessment procedures. Thorough understanding of maintenance, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance concepts, troubleshooting, fault detection, fault isolation procedures.

8 Experience on the application, operation, and maintenance of all applicable peculiar ground support equipment (PGSE) and Test Measurement Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE). Experience in the maintenance of facilities for storage of weapons, ammunition, weapons cleaning equipment, and supplies. Physically able to deploy OCONUS. 9 Will require living in or near Cairo Egypt. Must have been awarded Army MOS 15F. Must have current A&P license. Must meet all requirements for the position listed under Education/Skills and Requirements (no waivers) and be physically able to serve in an OCONUS area. 10 Responsibilities: Serves as a member of an Egyptian Air Force Technical Assistance Field Team (TAFT). Perform troubleshooting of all associated CH-47D electrical systems and sub-systems. Shall schedule and perform classroom instruction on the use and training of special tools and test equipment. Shall plan, prepare, and execute classroom instruction using current US Army doctrine, Army regulations, technical manuals, technical bulletins, and training circulars. Shall provide training to officers, and EAF electricians to recommend improvements to the program, curriculum, training methods, and/or resources.
