BACKGROUND: Azure SSPR (Self-Service password Reset) is a tool that allows MCSO staff to reset their password in the event of the old password expiring or being forgotten. This tool is accessible from outside the MCSO network, which empowers staff to reset passwords while working remote or in the field without the need to call helpdesk. This PROCEDURE outlines the enrollment process for Azure SSPR. AUTHORITY & RESPONSIBILITY: The Enterprise Infrastructure Commander or their designee . DEFINITIONS: PROCEDURE : 1. Go to and enter your MCSO email address and click Next . 2.

2 Enter your MCSO password and click Sign In . 3. Click the box for Don't show this again and click No . 4. Select one of the two options. The following steps will cover each option. 5. To setup a phone number, select Set it up now for Authentication Phone. 6. Enter the phone number you would like to use. Select either text me or call me based on how to receive the 6-digit code. 7. Enter the 6-digit code received and click verify . 8. Click finish to complete enrollment. 9. To setup Security Questions, select Set it up now for Security Questions. 10. From the drop down, select the question and provide the answer for each of the 3 questions, then click save answers . 11. Click finish to complete enrollment.
