Chapter 1: UV-Visible & Fluorescence Spectroscopy

(often abbreviated as UV-Vis) and fluorescence emission spectroscopy. These two methods are measured over the same range of wavelengths, but are caused by two different phenomena. In both cases, the wavelengths used are the near-ultraviolet range (200 to 400 nm) and the visible range (400 to 750 nm).
