History Review - 6th Grade Social Studies
Judaism is the Jewish religion. The origins of Judaism and its basic laws are recorded in its most sacred text, the Torah. The word Torah means "God's teaching." The Torah consists of the first five books of the Hebrew Bible. (Christians refer to the Hebrew Bible as the Old Testament.)
