2 1 N/mm2 Application instructionsPreparationAll surfaces to be treated with Hydroproof must be thoroughlycleaned by a wire brush or other mechanical means, toremove all dust, laitence or debris. The surface must also befree from oil, grease, wax or any other form of foreign matterwhich might affect adhesion. Spalled and deeplydisintegrated concrete or mortar must be removed to a soundsubstrate and repaired suitably before application, the surface should be primed withHydroproof as follows:1 part of Hydroproof : 2 parts of Water : 4 parts of CementMixed material with the above proportion will cover an area of16-17m2 for 1L of acrylic polymer shall be mixed with neat cementin the ratio of 1:2 respectively, to obtain a uniform andconsistent slurry avoiding any lump formation. This can beachieved with a low duty, low speed drilling machine attachedwith a mixing paddle.

3 Do not mix for more than 2 not mix more material than which can be used within thepot life. Apply the mixwith a short, stiff bristle brush like a paint to an approximatethickness of 1 to 2mm. During the first 12 hours of curing, Hydroproof surface must be protected from abrasion, rain orother adverse conditions. No traffic shall be allowed within48 hours after 2 coats of application of Hydroproof arerecommended. First coat should be allowed to air dry for 5 - 6hours. After application of the final coat, initial air drying shallbe allowed for 2 to 6 hours.

6 During this period water shouldnot be used for curing. Moist curing should be done for thenext 24 hours by spraying water on Hydroproof moist curing, Hydroproof should be allowed to dryfor three days before subjecting it to submersion in in , 1, 5 & 20 L - 16-17m2 / - / L / the practical consumption varies depending on thetexture and porosity of the surface and the liquid has a shelf life of 12 months,when storedin unopened containers under normal warehouse & SafetyHydroproof is water based and non-toxic. Gloves should beworn during application. Any splashes on the skin or eyesmust be washed off with clean water. Incase of prolongedirritation medical advice should be is nonflammable.
