1 Iscove's Modified Dulbecco's Medium (IMDM) With 25mM HEPES Buffer and Sodium bicarbonateWithout L-Glutamine1X Liquid Cell Culture MediumProduct Code: AL070 Please refer disclaimer overleafProduct Description : Iscove's Modified Dulbecco's Medium (IMDM) is anenriched modification of Dulbecco's Modified Eagle'sMedium wherein serum can be partially or totallyreplaced by chemically defined substances. The mediumcontains additional amino acids, sodium selenite, sodiumpyruvate, vitamins and inorganic salts. Potassium nitrateis substituted by ferric nitrate. IMDM was the firstmedium utilizing HEPES buffer. The Medium whenappropriately supplemented supports good growth ofprecursor cells of erythrocytes and macrophages. Themedium also supports good growth of T and Blymphocytes and a variety of hybrid cells under serumfree or reduced serum is Iscove's Modified Dulbecco's Medium with25mM HEPES buffer and sodium bicarbonate.

2 It doesnot contain L-glutamine. HEPES, a zwitterionic bufferhaving a pKa of at 37 C prevents the initial rise inpH that tends to occur at the initiation of a culture andincreases the buffering capacity of the Medium . Usersare advised to review the literature for recommendationsregarding Medium supplementation and physiologicalgrowth requirements specific for different cell :Ingredientsmg/LINORGANIC SALTSC alcium chloride sulphate dihydrogen phosphate hydrochloride disodium red sodium :1.
