1 Mitel Product Naming Overview OCTOBER, 2014 VERSION Mitel Product NAMING OVERVIEW VERSION Mitel Product Naming Mitel and heritage Aastra products are being named to provide a simpler Mitel story that is more in line with how customers buy. General Naming Guidelines Mitel products are organized into four Product families: MiContact Center includes contact center, call recording, workforce optimization. mivoice includes call control platforms, management solutions, desktop phone portfolio. MiCollab includes collaboration, unified communications applications, video. MiCloud includes Cloud retail offerings and wholesale offerings for service providers. Call control platforms and their associated solutions are further named by the customer segment they typically serve: office - small to medium business Business medium business/enterprise Enterprise large enterprise When multiple products exist for the same customer segment, they are then given numeric descriptors to further delineate them.

2 In the case of call control platforms, these numeric descriptors can correspond roughly with the number of supported end users of the base platform. Example: mivoice office 250 mivoice office 400 Two exceptions are the Aastra A5000 and MX-ONE , which will retain their names and replace Aastra with mivoice mivoice 5000 . Desktop Devices Mitel builds several lines of analog, digital, IP, SIP and DECT phones designed for both Mitel and 3rd party call control platforms. These sets are named for the call control platforms they are primarily designed for: mivoice includes sets designed to work on Mitel s family of call control platforms. Mitel includes sets designed to work on, and marketed for, 3rd party call control platforms such as BroadSoft and Metaswitch.

3 These sets may also work on Mitel platforms. Mitel Product NAMING OVERVIEW VERSION OEM Products Products that Mitel OEM s will generally drop the 3rd party brand and replace it with Mitel . Example: Xarios Phone Manager becomes Mitel Phone Manager . Established Aastra Brands Aastra products with stand-alone brand names will simply replace Aastra with Mitel in their naming, rather than use a Mitel Product family name. Example: Aastra BluStar becomes Mitel BluStar rather than MiCollab BluStar MiContact Center MiContact Center includes all components of the former Customer Interactions Solutions portfolio. Individual products such as Visual Workflow Manager, Intelligent Queue etc. will be considered licensable components of the MiContact Center Business Edition and Enterprise Edition offerings, not separately branded products.
