Summary of duties: Sweeps, mops, vacuum, waxes and polishes floors of concrete, tiles or rugs; using mops, cloths, brushes, brooms and cleaning solution and if necessary, other equipment including vacuum cleaners. Polish brass fitting, furniture and fixture, silver stainless steel railings. Cleans ash trays, clean light globes, blinds, empties waste baskets, cleans and replenishes supplies in washroom. Clean windows, polices surrounding outside areas. Replace burned light bulbs, opens and shuts windows. Loads and unloads delivery supplies, moves items such as tables and chairs.. Qualification Requirements . 1. Must have experience and/or knowledge in janitorial/cleaning field.. 2. Must be flexible with shift when needed . 3. Understanding and ability to verbally communicate in English is preferred.. 4. Must be able to lift and carry items up 45 lbs or greater. 45 (20kg ) .. 5.
4 Janitorial work involves strenuous activity, such as: bending, lifting heavy objects, standing for long periods of time, handling chemicals, and climbing ladders. Applicant must be in good physical condition and is not allergic to cleaning solutions, bleach, window cleaner, detergent, simple green and, etc.. 6.
