As children talk, have them describe thetastes, look, smells, and textures of the differentingredients they have enjoyed on pizzas. Then playa game of "What s On My PIZZA ?" Start the gameby saying: "I m having a PIZZA that has somethinground, red, and spicy-tasting on it. What kind ofpizza am I having?" After children identify thepizza (pepperoni), have children in the group taketurns describing, without identifying, different pizzas to the group and see if they can name children pretend to make a child in the classinto a doughnut. Have children "stretch and moldthe child" into a circle shape, sprinkle sugar (usepowder) on the "doughnut", and pop the doughnutinto the pretend frying pan.

As children enjoy their PIZZA , have them consider whatingredient they would like to be if they had tochoose between cheese, pepperoni, mushroom,onion, or any other PIZZA topping. Encourage themto describe why they chose this particular topping.
