The unique4--way, multipoise design of the 58 MCB allows for installation inupflow, downflow, horizontal left, and horizontal rightorientations, meaning it is perfect for a variety of installationapplications. With the exception of the 140 size unit, all sizes of the58 MCB can be installed in a manufactured ( mobile ) home whenthe optional kit is used and in installations with elevations up to10,000 ft (140 size unit limitation 7,000 ft). The furnace is factoryconfigured for upflow application but can easily be made ready fordownflow or horizontal installation. With the exception of the 140size, all sizes can be installed with 2--pipe or 1--pipe venting. The140 size can be installed only as a 2--pipe applications offer the advantage of reduced spacerequirements by locating the furnace in an attic or crawlspace,freeing space formerly dedicated to a furnace or utility 58 MCB is specifically designed to meet the needs of homebuilders and new home owners.

4 Thefurnace is factory--shipped for use with natural gas. A CSA( ) listed gas conversion kit is required to convertfurnace for use with propane gas. The efficiency is GAMA efficiency rating certified. The 58 MCB meets California AirQuality Management District emission requirements. Except forthe 140 size unit, all sizes of the 58 MCB can be installed in amanufactured ( mobile ) home when the optional kit is used.
