SINGLE PACKAGE AIR-COOLED AIR CONDITIONERS

1 DESCRIPTIONYORK Sunline 2000 units are convertible SINGLE PACKAGE airconditioners with a common cabinet and a common roof curbfor the 3, 4, 5 and 6 ton sizes. The units were designed for lightcommercial and commercial applications. They can easily beinstalled on a roof curb, slab, roof jack or units are self-contained and assembled on rigid fullperimeter base rails with fork lift slots on three sides and holesfor overhead rigging. Every unit is completely piped, wired,charged and tested at the factory to provide for a quick andeasy field units are available in cooling only, and cooling with gas heaters are available as field-installed cabinet is constructed of galvanized steel, painted with longlasting, durable, and aesthetically pleasing power paint.

2 Paintfinish meets 750 hour salt spray tests per ASTM-B117 models include a 5-year limited warranty on scrollcompressors and electric heating elements, a 10-year limitedwarranty on gas-fired heat exchangers and a 1-year limitedwarranty on all replacement FOOTPRINT/COMMON CABINET - All modelsizes and configurations share a common cabinet and acommon roof curb. The installer has the flexibility of setting onecurb and placing the proper tonnage unit on that curb after theinternal load has been determined. He can even decidebetween gas or electric heat after the curb has been EFFICIENCY - All units have a high cooling efficiency,and gas / electric models have a minimum AFUE of 80%.

3 Allefficiencies exceed legislated minimum levels and provide lowoperating AIRFLOW DESIGN - Both the side and bottomduct openings are covered when they leave the factory. If a sidesupply / side return is desired, you simply remove the two sideduct covers from the outside of the unit and discard them. If abottom supply / bottom return is desired, you simply remove thetwo knockout panels from the base of the unit and discard panel cutting or swapping is required! Convertible airflowdesign allows maximum field flexibility and minimum may be used on either bottom and side ductapplications with no modifications OPTIONS - Economizers can beinstalled at the factory.

4 The economizers are shipped installedand wired. Only the rain hood needs to be field assembled andinstalled. Field labor dollars can be saved by having thecomponents arrive already belt drive blowers are available on all models fromthe factory for complete airflow ACCESSORIES - Accessories weredesigned for quick and easy installation. The motorized damperand economizers simply slide in, and electrical connections aremade by modular plugs. Electric heaters mount easily, andknockouts are provided in the internal partitions to connect theelements to the control box SINGLE point motorized air damper includes a slid-in/plug-in damperassembly with a rainhood and filters.

5 The outdoor air dampersopen when the indoor fan motor is energized. The damper iscapable of providing 0% through 100% of outdoor return manual outdoor damper provides 0% through 35% or 0%through 100% of return air opening (field adjustable). Designedfor duct mounted side or bottom supply/return rain hood assembly and 14" high roof curb is shipped knocked down. 6 The 6-ton unit has a singlespeed direct-drive fan motor. Belt-drive blowers are alsoavailable on all 3, 4, 5 and 6-ton PERIMETER BASE RAILS - The permanently attachedbase rails provide a solid foundation for the entire unit andprotect the unit during shipment. The rails provide fork liftaccess from 3 sides, and rigging holes are also provided sothat an overhead crane can be used to place the units on a PROTECTION - Internal overload protection arestandard on all scroll compressors. Every unit has a liquid linefilter-drier, high and low pressure/lose at charge switches and asuction line freezestat to protect all system components.

7 All unitswill provide cooling at ambient temperatures down to 45 CONNECTIONS MADE EASY - Gas and electricutility knockouts are provided in the unit base as well as theside of the unit. A clearly identified location is provided to mounta field supplied electrical disconnect switch. Utility connectionscan be made quickly and with a minimum amount of field CONTROL CIRCUIT - A low voltage printed circuitboard contains a scroll compressor lockout indicator light anda low voltage terminal strip. An additional set of pin connectorsis also provided to simplify the field interface of externalcontrols. Mate-n-lock plug connectors are used where line andlow voltage wires pass thru internal bulkheads.

8 This allows foreasier troubleshooting and component replacement. Theelectrical control box is not located in the scroll compressorcompartment so the access cover can be removed fortroubleshooting without affecting the normal system operatingpressures. All wiring internal to the unit is color/number FILTERS - Units are shipped with 1" disposable filters.
