While mandatory recycling has been the law in New Jersey since 1987 there are still some businesses and organizations that are not yet onboard with recycling and do not realize that recycling not only makes environmental sense, but also economic sense. On a national scale, recycling has encouraged the growth of an industry and created jobs.
