1 A June 2001 Meets or exceeds the requirements of ASHRAE for energy for use as a recovery heater having its own storagetank or booster for supplying sanitizing rinse WATER TANK - Three sizes; 52, 80 and 119 galloncapacity. Tank interior is coated with glass specially developedby Smith Ceramic Research for WATER heater use. Tanksrated at 150 psi working pressure; tested at 300 psi. Foaminsulation reduces costly heat loss. ASME (optional) maximumworking pressure is 160 - Heavy duty elements have Incoloy sheaths andceramic terminal block for rugged commercial service.

2 Mediumwatt density means lower surface temperature to minimizescale buildup and more surface to heat WATER . Element sizesfrom 2 to 6 KW. Use 3, 6 or 9 elements; maximum input 54 design assures proper placement of elements in the tankto avoid bridging the sheaths with lime or scale CIRCUIT FUSING - Protects elements and contactorsfrom short circuits, overloading or line surges. Meets NationalElectric Code requirements (fusing required when current drawexceeds 48 amps).STANDARD VOLTAGES - 208, 240 and 480V single-phase andthree phase delta.

3 Convertible from three-phase to single-phase (in field) and vice versa (except 208/54 KW). 277V single-phase also BLOCK - Factory installed. Just bring the service tothe heater and connect to CONTACTORS - Heavy duty; UL rated 100, - 120V control circuit is powered by fusedtransformer, eliminating need for 120V service temperature control adjustable through a range of60 F to 180 F. 6 Heater(s) shall be rated at _____KW _____V _____phase, 60 cycle AC listed by Underwriters Laboratories andapproved by the National Sanitation Foundation. Tank(s) shall be (52, 80 or 119) gallon capacity with 150 psi working pressure and equipped with dualextruded high density anodes. All internal surfaces of the heater(s) exposed to WATER shall be glass-lined with an alkaline borosilicate composition thathas been fused to steel by firing at a temperature range of 1400 F to 1600 F. Electric heating elements shall be medium watt density screw-in type withIncoloy sheath and ceramic terminal block.

7 Internal power circuit fusing shall be provided. Element operation shall be_____ (1. simulta-neous; or 2. sequenced with thermostats) switched through individual magnetic contactors.
