The specific objectives includedto: examine the socioeconomic characteristics of the radio programme listeners, ascertain major sources of agriculturalinformation to farmers in the study area, determine the LEVEL of ADOPTION of the various identified IMPROVED technologiesdisseminated to the farmer listeners through the radio farmer programme, and identify constraints to effective utilization ofthe radio farmer data for the study were collected through questionnaire administered to 270 farmers inthe three agricultural zones (Okigwe, Orlu and Owerri) of Imo State.
